Beer & Fear FAQs

Can I wear a costume or a mask?

Children ages 12 years and younger are allowed to wear costumes, wear masks, dress up, etc. Due to safety policies and procedures anyone over the age of 12 are NOT ALLOWED to wear costumes, wear masks, dress up, etc.

Can I get a refund or cancel my ticket?

Unfortunately, there are no refunds allowed.

If there is bad enough weather that we have to cancel an event day then your ticket will be moved to the next available event day.

We do offer a ticket protection option during checkout which would allow you to get a refund if your event day is cancelled due to weather or COVID-19. The event must be cancelled by UMC for this protection to take effect. If you choose to not come due to bad weather or COVID-19 concerns but the event is still happening then you will not be refunded.

Can I bring my dog?

We do offer a Pupper Pass for you to bring your furry friend to the event! However, we do not allow dogs in the attraction areas such as the Haunted House, Zombie Paintball, Drifting, etc.

What are the prices for the mugs, drinks, food or merchandise?

Pricing varies and will be available on-site.

Can I upgrade to a higher ticket level?

Yes, there will be options available on-site to upgrade your ticket if you’d like.

Is it kid friendly?

During the daytime, most areas are very kid friendly!

How scary is it?

The haunted walk thru and other areas are made to scare adults…therefore, we don’t recommend easily scared children (or adults) through some of experiences.

Do I have to buy a mug like Oktoberfest?

No. We are not requiring a mug purchase for Beer & Fear Fest.

What if I want to do some of the activities more than once?

Some activities are free and you can do them as many times as you want. Others, such as the Haunted Walk Thru or Zombie Paintball, have a charge for additional tickets.

How does the drive-in work?

You will park in front of a screen and tune your radio to the correct station. While you’re watching the movie you may be greeted by a ghost or ghoul…

What if there is bad weather?

Unless there is severe wind, rain, or lightning Beer & Fear Fest will continue as planned. If lightning occurs during the event, we will notify guests and ask everyone to wait it out in their cars. Since this is a free entry event, there are no refunds of any kind due to weather.

Some weekends may be a bit chilly. Please bring a jacket or coat just in case!

I look way past 21, will you really ID me?

YES! We will ID EVERYONE!

Where can I find a map and schedule for Beer & Fear Fest?

The map and daily schedules will be available on this webpage as the event gets closer.

I've never been to UMC/Beer & Fear Fest. What should I know?

UMC is a 511-acre event and motorsports facility. Beer & Fear Fest is an all-ages, mostly outdoor, Halloween themed beer and food festival. Since it is mostly outdoors, we highly encourage you to bring jackets, umbrellas, etc just in case.

How much is parking?

There is a $10 per car/motorcycle/etc per day fee.

Can I bring lawn chairs?

Yes, but only lawn chairs and/or blankets. No tents or any other structures are allowed.

Can I get in without a ticket?

NO. Everyone (including dogs) MUST have a ticket in order to enter the facility.

Is there a waiver?

Yes. Your ticket will indicate if you have already accepted the terms of our waiver for you and your group. If your ticket does not indicate that you have accepted our waiver, we will have you sign a waiver on site.

Is outside food or drink allowed?

No, other than you can bring a SEALED bottle of water per person.

Can I attend if I'm not 21?

Yes, this is an all-ages event.

Can I drive the Go-Karts if I've been drinking?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. NO EXCEPTIONS. It is no different than drinking and driving with your car on a public road. You will be turned away if you have been drinking.

Do I need to print my tickets or can I just have them on my phone?

Either option is great! As long as we can scan the QR code on the ticket then you are good to go!
