If you’re into watching high-powered off-road racers or driving them, UMC is the place to be. We host the best off-road short-course racing series in the world, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, with classes ranging from kids’ buggies to 900-hp, fire-breathing, four-wheel-drive trucks on our Off Road Short Course. If you want to drive in off-road races in Utah, UMC is the home of the Lucas Oil Regional Off-Road Racing Series. UMC also has, as part of its 511-acre campus, a rock-crawling course onsite. This venue has been used for professional rock-crawling events in the past, and is available for rent to off-roaders seeking a challenge or as a place to test out off-road components. Info/reservations: Call 801-597-3103.

Our professional track is HUGE with a challenging course that thousands of Utahns have already enjoyed for birthdays, corporate events, dates, races and more! Go-kart racing is the most affordable form of auto racing and is designed for the fun and enjoyment of individuals and entire families.
The Utah Go Kart Track offers a world-class racing facility with a paved pit area, racing clubhouse, numerous track configurations and a brand-new fleet of Righetti karts that are fast fun for everyone and feature a top speed of 40-50 miles per hour.
There are some restrictions involved for our younger Utah Go Kart Track drivers. Drivers of our rental karts must be at least 8 years old and 52 inches tall. Also, any rental kart driver younger than 18 must have a signed parental waiver on file before driving. These are available here; it’s advisable to download and fill this form out before coming to the track.
In addition to having the best Utah Go Kart Track, UMC also offers a bank of world-class racing simulators that are fun and educational for both individuals and groups. We also have a fleet of ATVs that are available to rent for group/corporate events on our Off-Road Course.

I’m going to go out on the proverbial branch and predict an unnatural phenomenon to occur this weekend.
This Sunday, NASCAR will drop the green flag on the 59th running of the legendary Daytona 500. At or near that time, I predict that there will be unnatural warming and a distinct hum heard in three places – one in Mooresville, N.C., and two near Daytona Beach, Fla.
So, this week’s news that American Honda is returning to pro motorcycle road racing by backing Danny Walker’s Team Genuine Broaster Chicken Honda in MotoAmerica’s Superbike class team with rider Jake Gagne is a very welcome development.
