The parent company of Utah Motorsports Campus, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd. (Geely), produced and launched a worldwide video release on May 8, which was World Smile Day, of a song dedicated to promoting strength and unity in the face of the worldwide COVID-19 crisis.

“Smiles Even Brighter Than Before” was written by Geely Chairman Li Shufu and composed by well-known Chinese composer Li Jie. It was performed by 12 renowned singers from across the globe: Charlotte Hellekant of Sweden; Shenyang of China; Alyona Abramova of Russia; Allison Cook, Alex Otterburn and Barry Banks of the United Kingdom; Violetta Lukyanenko of Belarus; Lisa Mostin of Belgium; MaxmilianSchmitt of Germany; Teng Lee Feng of Malaysia; Oreste Cosimo of Italy and Erika Tanaka of Japan.

Geely has 80,000 employees located in facilities around the world. The company has been in the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, donating medical equipment to 14 countries as part of its effort to help defeat the pandemic virus, including 5,000 medical-grade face masks to Tooele County.

The unifying song was released worldwide on YouTube and international media outlets and will extend its reach even further later this year when it will be played in outer space on two Geely-developed satellites.
