Headlining the four-day event will be the Pirelli World Challenge Championships, one of the hottest production-based road racing series in the world. With 101 entries from 23 different manufacturers racing from Ford, Chevy and Mazda to Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Bentley, the action is going to be fierce and non-stop.

Supporting races will be provided by the Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy USA, a series that specializes in Porsche 911s and Caymans.

“This is the weekend that sports car fans in the Intermountain West look forward to all year,” said UMC General Manager Willem Geyer. “The variety of the cars, the quality of the teams and drivers, the intensity of the competition and our outstanding venue combine to make it the best weekend of the year, and we can’t wait to get started.”

The on-track action on the 3.048-mile Outer Course gets underway on Thursday with a practice day, followed by more practice and qualifying sessions on Friday. There will be five races scheduled on Saturday and three on Sunday.

Off the track, fans can satisfy their need for speed by trying out UMC’s fleet of brand-new karts at the UMC Kart Track or on one of the new, state-of-the-art racing simulators in the UMC Kart Track Lounge. The Pirelli World Challenge drivers will have autograph sessions for the fans on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, there is a wide variety of concession options, with the Fast Track Café being augmented by food trucks and trucks serving coffee, soda and beer. The trackside Rodizio Grill restaurant will be open all weekend for business as well.

Admission on Thursday and Friday is free to everyone. Tickets for Saturday and Sunday are priced at only $35/day for adults, with kids 12 and under admitted free of charge. There will be a $5 charge for parking. VIP options and RV parking are also available.
